Axcis are a specialist SEND education agency that are currently recruiting teachers with an understanding of differentiation and special educational needs, to teach children and young people across the Wigan area. We are looking for teachers who are looking to work with children of varying abilities and ages. This can be as a teacher, tutor or sometimes in a specialist support role. In this role you will be supporting children in class, 1-1 and group settings and assisting them in accessing the curriculum to the best of their ability.
What we offer:
- Full-time roles across a range of primary, secondary and SEND settings.
- Daily rates starting from £150 per day.
- A range of training courses through the national college for CPD.
What you will need:
- An enhanced DBS certificate – if not, we can assist with applying for one.
- A minimum of 6 months working or volunteering with SEND in an education or care setting (3 months MUST be in the UK for overseas candidates).
- A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
- QTS and experience teaching whole classes.
- Preferable driving, but candidates who can reliably commute to Wigan and surrounding areas via public transport are welcome to apply.
