Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 SEN support and small group interventions
- Supporting pupils to access the curriculum and achieve learning goals
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and learning activities

Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children or young people with SEN in education or care settings (UK‑based experience required for overseas applicants: minimum 3 months)
- A genuine passion for SEN education and supporting children with additional needs
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach in the classroom
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (support provided)
Location / Travel
This role covers Wigan and surrounding areas. As some schools may not be easily accessible by public transport, a driving licence and access to a vehicle are highly desirable.
