Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children or young people with SEN in education or care settings (UK‑based experience required for overseas applicants: minimum 3 months)
  • A genuine passion for SEN education and supporting children with additional needs
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach in the classroom
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (support provided)

Location / Travel

This role covers Wigan and surrounding areas. As some schools may not be easily accessible by public transport, a driving licence and access to a vehicle are highly desirable.
