Position Overview: We have a fantastic SEMH Secondary school in the WN5 area looking for a long‑term teaching assistant to join their team in September. The school is a large secondary setting supporting children with a range of SEMH and behavioural needs. Class sizes are small and the majority of pupils are accessing Key Stage 2 and lower Key Stage 3 curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the behaviour and learning of pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience supporting SEMH and challenging behaviour.
  • Preferably experience in an SEMH, PRU or alternative provision setting.
  • Full‑time availability.
  • Enthusiastic and bubbly personality to engage with the children.
  • Reliable commute to the WN5 area.
  • Working hours Monday‑Friday 8:30am‑3:30pm.
