Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a qualified Secondary Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Shevington, Wigan. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who is passionate about Food Technology and committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to secondary-aged students.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging learning activities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and support student progress and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Be passionate about inspiring young people and promoting a love of learning.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative staff team.
