A nurturing primary school in the EN8 Waltham Cross area is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Reception, Early Years and KS1. You will be working on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with children who have ASD, are non‑verbal, and present complex or behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 or 2:1 with children who have ASD and non‑verbal communication challenges
- Provide tailored assistance and encourage communication
- Help pupils engage confidently in daily activities and school routines
Qualifications
- Experience supporting young children with SEN
- Patient, creative and confident supporting non‑verbal pupils
