Axcis Education is working with a local primary school near Walsall, seeking a nurturing teaching assistant to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This full-time position starts in September and operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Support children aged 4 to 11 with varying complex needs.
- Provide personalised and tailored support for all individual needs.
- Build meaningful, positive relationships with all students.
- Bring a calming influence to the classroom.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting young people with SEND.
- Holds an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
- Has a caring and patient nature, able to foster positive relationships with pupils.
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.
Pay: £92.63 per day.
