Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Working Pattern: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Daily Rate: From £89 per day
A welcoming primary school in Walsall is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This role is centred around providing meaningful support to pupils with additional needs, helping them feel confident, supported, and engaged in their learning. Previous school-based experience is not required; however, experience supporting children with special educational needs is essential, along with a genuine passion for working with children.
About the Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEN both in the classroom and during structured activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
- Assisting pupils with communication, focus, and independence
- Working closely with teaching staff to support learning objectives
