The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

Axcis are working closely with a large pro-active mainstream primary school and nursery in the Liverpool area. The school has a fantastic SEND provision and will be increasing their level of SEND Support in the very near future. The school is opening a Resource base dedicated to individuals with Autism, including those with sensory needs and challenging behaviour. With this in mind, the school has multiple support staff vacancies for teaching assistants with experience of working with children with SEND needs. Dependant on the candidates' experience, the role will either be based in the mini hubs dotted around the school or within the main resource hub. This is a full-time role initially to the end of this academic year. This is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant looking for a school with a strong community spirit.

Job details:

  • Supporting individuals with SEND needs
  • Working alongside the class teacher and other teaching assistants
  • Full time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
  • Starting ASAP and going through to the end of the academic year

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting individuals with SEND needs – Essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential
  • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions. You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role. Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
