Do you have a passion and experience of delivering multi-trades to students or adults?
We are looking for a Multi Trades Lead to support students aged 9-16 on a 1:1 basis and small group basis, ensuring they are well supported and have access to a bespoke curriculum, tailored to their needs.

- Salary ranges from £23,250-£38,756, depending on SEND experience and qualifications.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 4:45pm
- Position: Permanent (Temp to perm option)
- Start Date: 7th September 2026
About the Role
- You will be delivering a variety of trade skills to students who are looking to obtain a work based placement, or apprenticeship, in a trade.
- Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and engage positively with school life.
- You must be able to drive, as part of your role will be commuting between sites in and around Totnes.
- You must have an enthusiasm for supporting students with complex needs, who may struggle to self-regulate.
- Teaching students with SEMH on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
- Helping to create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment
- About the School
- The school supports students aged 9–16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education.
- All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Previous experience with young people with SEND is not essential working .
