Location: North Bristol (BS35)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (term-time only)
Pay: From £14.25 per hour (approx. 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and additional needs such as ASD.
- Support emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development.
- Deliver tailored learning activities both in and outside the classroom.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote engagement and progress.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and resilience.

What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: Experience supporting children or young people with SEND/SEMH (paid, voluntary, or personal).
- Willingness to obtain (or already hold) an enhanced DBS.
- University student on a placement year (e.g., studying psychology, education, or related field) and passionate about working with SEMH.
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine desire to support young people.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Desirable: Experience working with Autism (ASC) or challenging behaviour.
- Team Teach training or willingness to undertake training.
- Relevant qualifications or modules linked to SEND.
