We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded special school based in Speke (L24). This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the fastest growing special schools in the country, recently graded Outstanding by Ofsted. This is a temporary to permanent role, offering long‑term stability for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH and SEND.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning.
- Assist with behaviour support and emotional regulation.
- Create a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Calm, resilient, and supportive approach.
- Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one (support provided).
