Axcis are working with a small, specialist SEND school in Hackney that supports children with complex physical and medical needs, including students who require gastrostomy (g-tube) support and manual handling. The school provides a calm, nurturing environment with very small class sizes and high staff-to-pupil ratios, allowing pupils to be supported safely and consistently throughout the day. The role involves supporting pupils both in the classroom and with daily care routines to ensure they can fully access learning. This position is suited to someone with manual handling experience and confidence supporting pupils with medical and physical needs. Experience with gastro feeding is essential, either through school, care, hospital or specialist support settings.

Responsibilities
