Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (Rochdale & Oldham)
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £100.00 - £140 PAYE
Responsibilities
- Support learners in small groups and provide 1:1 support where needed
- Deliver whole class cover and lessons to a small class of learners with SEMH needs where occasions arise
- Create a nurturing and positive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and emotional wellbeing
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual learning plans and behaviour support strategies
Qualifications
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting children with SEMH or additional learning needs
- A patient, caring and resilient attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
