A specialist SEN secondary school in Bermondsey is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to help students access learning and develop key skills.
- Provide a supportive environment for all students.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting classroom management.
- Support students’ progress and wellbeing.
- Carry out any additional duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Enhanced child and adult DBS (or willingness to apply).
- Ability to provide suitable references.
- Patient, caring and committed approach.
- Prepared to attend a face-to-face interview and demonstrate suitability.
Working Pattern
- 5 days per week, 08:30 – 16:00.
- This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
Salary
