Overview
Location: M14, Manchester | Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience) | Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary | Start Date: ASAP
Axcis is seeking a fluent Arabic-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the M14 area. The successful candidate will support pupils across the school and be confident leading the class when required.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils, including those with English as an additional language (EAL)
- Lead the class confidently in the teacher’s absence when needed
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Fluent in Arabic and English (essential)
- Previous experience working in a UK primary school (essential)
- Confident leading a class and managing behaviour positively
- Patient, flexible, and passionate about supporting children’s learning
- A teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable
