Pay: £89–£95 per day Location: Plymouth We are currently working with a nurturing and inclusive Alternative Provision that supports young people who face barriers to mainstream education—often due to social, emotional, and mental health needs. This setting prioritises a trauma-informed approach, helping pupils to regulate their emotions, rebuild trust, and re-engage with learning. We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant with experience in SEMH or similar settings. The successful candidate must be calm, compassionate, and confident when dealing with challenging behaviour. You’ll need to be resilient, consistent, and able to maintain strong boundaries while supporting pupils both in the classroom and in the wider community through outreach work. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
