The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 Β£ per year.
We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to support KS3 and KS4 students in a mainstream secondary school located in Swindon.
- You will be supporting students who are at risk of exclusion; assisting them with their daily school routine and working with them to develop strategies enabling them to manage their behaviour.
- The students you will be working with may have a range of learning disabilities and SEMH needs, therefore previous experience of working alongside children with challenging behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs is an advantage.
- This position is available for an immediate start until the end of the academic year and may be extended dependent on funding.
- Hours are 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute break and pay is competitive.
The school is a large, mainstream secondary school with a good Ofsted rating and is located in Swindon.
There is a car park for staff use and the school can be accessed by various public transport routes.
The successful candidate will have some previous experience of supporting children or young adults in an educational or care setting and training or experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour would be an advantage.
This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
