Year 3 Class Teacher | Primary School | Cheam, Sutton | September Start

Job Type: Full-Time Supply Teacher. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join a lovely and welcoming primary school in Cheam, Sutton from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach a Year 3 class within a supportive and inclusive school that is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Experience teaching KS2 or Year 3 is desirable.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Confident using Google Classroom or willing to quickly learn the platform.
• Passionate about helping children succeed and develop a love of learning.
