We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Teacher in Sutton (Cheam) to join a mainstream primary school from September 2026. This is a full‑time teaching role (Monday to Friday, 8:00‑4:00 pm) suitable for experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs).
Responsibilities
- Full classroom responsibility within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
- Support pupil progress, attainment and development.
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, TAs and senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent – essential.
- Experience working in a UK mainstream primary school (for experienced teachers).
- Recent teaching placements within a UK primary school setting (for ECTs).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for supporting pupils aged 4–11 years.

Salary & Contract
- Pay: £150 – £180 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience.
- Contract: Full‑time long‑term role starting September 2026.
Employment Conditions
Position is temporary unless otherwise stated. DBS or arrangement to process one is required. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 for roles involving children or vulnerable adults.
