We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Assistant to join a welcoming adult care centre in N8. This role involves supporting adults with a range of physical, learning and behavioural needs, with personal care forming a key part of the role.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing personal care support with dignity and respect
- Supporting adults with behavioural and emotional needs in a calm and consistent manner
- Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
- Supporting communication and social interaction
- Maintaining a safe, clean and supportive environment
- Working closely with colleagues and following individual care and support plans
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working in an adult care or support setting
- Be confident supporting individuals with behavioural needs
- Be patient, compassionate and resilient
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
