Tutor in Stretford

Axcis Education are looking for subject Tutors to work in a variety of settings and locations, such as Salford, Manchester, Tameside and surrounding boroughs.

Pay rate: £25-£55 per hour subject to experience

Location: Greater Manchester

About the Role:

• This role is to be based either at public settings or at schools
• This is a flexible role; hours and days are subject to candidate and student needs
• Roles are available immediately for the right candidate
• Supporting students from primary to college ages - candidate preference
• This would be a fantastic position for a tutor gaining experience, university student or QTS teacher.

You would be supporting students who:

• Have been absent from school due to EBSA needs
• Require 1:1 intervention sessions to boost knowledge
• Attend both mainstream and specialist provision
• Require varied learning strategies
• Have personalised learning programmes or EHCPs

What We Are Looking For:

• Fantastic relationship building techniques
• Good understanding of core subjects such as Maths, English and Science (we welcome additional specialisms)
• Previous SEND experience with children and/or adults
• Effective strategies to support pupils
• A flexible and proactive attitude
