About the Role

This role is based in an SEN school and requires you to work closely with younger students across the primary and secondary sites, supporting their personal care (changing nappies, feeding) and learning needs.

About the School

The ages there range from 2–16 with a post‑16 site for 16–19 students. Classroom sizes of 8–10 students with 4–5 teaching assistants per class. Specialised, individual learning pathways focusing on communication, independence, self‑care and cognition alongside academics. The school offers therapeutic and sensory environments, including sensory rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, soft play areas and dark rooms. Typical disabilities include severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, sensory impairments, epilepsy and challenging behaviours.
