We are seeking a dedicated Classroom-Based Teaching Assistant to work across Primary school settings, supporting pupils and teachers to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and age‑appropriate lessons
  • Working with small groups or 1:1 to reinforce learning and support progress
  • Assisting pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND where required
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Supporting children with personal care where necessary
  • Supervising pupils during activities, breaktimes, and transitions

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children in a Primary school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous but not required
