1:1 Teaching Assistant – SEND

Axcis Education is proud to be supporting a large, well-established SEND school in the St Helens area, welcoming pupils aged 4–14 with a wide range of needs. These include ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and a variety of complex medical and learning needs.

We are seeking a caring, dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join the school from February, working across different classes to provide personalised support to pupils who need it most. If you’re passionate about inclusion and motivated to make a meaningful, lasting difference, this could be the ideal role for you.

Your Role

  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils within the classroom and wider school environment
  • Support the delivery of individualised learning plans designed by teachers and therapists
  • Assist with communication, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour regulation
  • Use creative and engaging approaches to encourage independence, confidence, and progress
  • Work collaboratively with a friendly, skilled, and supportive team of professionals

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
