The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner / Reception Teaching Assistant to join the Reception team. The successful candidate will support children within the Early Years setting, helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within the Reception class
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning activities
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and classroom practice
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Skills & Experience Required
- Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred
- Candidates without a Level 3 qualification must have at least 1 year of Early Years experience within the UK
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience working within a primary school or nursery setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
