We are currently recruiting for a Primary Supply Teacher to work day-to-day across a range of mainstream primary schools in Slough. This role offers excellent flexibility and would suit a qualified teacher who enjoys working in different school environments and can quickly adapt to new classrooms while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring pupils remain engaged, supported and able to continue their learning in the absence of their usual class teacher.
- In longer-term placements, contribute to lesson planning and preparation to support continuity within the classroom.
Qualifications & Experience
- UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Minimum one year of experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Confident managing classroom behaviour, building positive relationships with pupils and staff, and adapting teaching approach to suit a variety of learning needs and classroom dynamics.
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, creativity and the ability to remain calm and professional in new environments.
Working Hours & Pay
- Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm.
- Pay is offered in line with the teacher pay scale, depending on experience and qualifications.
