About the Role
You will play a pivotal role within a specialist setting catering for students aged 11 to 16 who all have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) specifically related to SEMH. These learners require a tailored approach to education, and you will work closely with teaching staff, therapists and external agencies to deliver highly personalised support that truly makes a difference. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students on a one-to-one and small group basis, both in and out of the classroom
- Helping pupils to build confidence and self-esteem through structured routines and consistent guidance
- Supporting with behaviour regulation strategies and de-escalation techniques

What Weβre Looking For
