Overview SEN Teacher – Secondary – Barking & Dagenham. From Β£160/day (depending on experience). Secondary school in Barking & Dagenham that provides specialist support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and autism spectrum conditions. Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons adapted for learners with SEMH and autism.
  • Managing a small class size, supported by experienced TAs.
  • Using restorative approaches and relationship-based practice to manage behaviour.
  • Working closely with parents, the SENCO and external agencies to support student progress.
