We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide high quality support to pupils in a Resource Base in a primary school in Swindon starting in September.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Experience of Makaton and personal care
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing effective learning, physical, personal care and social support for pupils in the resource base
  • Supporting staff in the classroom setting and promoting positive behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to empathise and motivate

Working hours: part time, term‑time only, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on skills and experience.
