Axcis Education is collaborating with a primary school in Manchester to find a professional, enthusiastic, and dependable SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing 1-to-1 support for a Year 3 pupil with an Educational Health Care Plan starting in September 2025. The main focus is delivering specialised dyslexia support to facilitate the pupil\’s integration into the mainstream curriculum, enabling them to keep pace with classmates. The role includes fostering effective learning in both group and independent settings, working closely with teachers, the SENCO, and parents.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with special needs, including EHCPs, and possess attributes such as initiative, commitment, flexibility, and the ability to engage pupils. This is a full-time, long-term position.
