We are currently seeking two caring, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Saltash. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related needs. The successful candidates will play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and confident within the classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children
- Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom
- Help children regulate emotions and engage with learning
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
Ideal Candidate
- Have experience working with children or young people
- Be calm, compassionate, and resilient
- Have an understanding of Autism, ADHD, and trauma‑informed practice
- Be able to build strong relationships and adapt to individual needs
- Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their potential

Location and Pay
- Location: Saltash
- Pay: £92–£96 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Start Date: ASAP or September 2026
- Contract: Full‑time
