We are looking for fun, energetic and enthusiastic candidates to work with students aged 11-14 in a small SEMH setting in Salford. This is a great opportunity for candidates to develop their skills and to be supported by a friendly and supportive staff team.
Responsibilities:
- Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
- Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
- Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
- Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
- Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
- Be passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Provide support advice and guidance.
- Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
