Axcis Education is recruiting a resilient and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils displaying challenging behaviour within a supportive Rugby primary setting.
The Role:
- Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
- Implement behaviour plans and positive reinforcement strategies
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities
- Promote emotional regulation and social skills development
- Maintain a safe and structured learning environment
About You:
- Experience supporting challenging behaviour or SEMH needs
- Calm, confident and consistent approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Team player with excellent communication
- Passionate about making a difference in SEND
