We’re recruiting a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to support post‑16 students with autism and learning disabilities at a welcoming further education setting in Bath. The college offers modern facilities, a strong emphasis on life skills, employability and independence, and a nurturing environment where students feel supported and valued.

Role Details

  • Full‑time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am–3:30 pm)
  • £14.30 per hour
  • Starting September, with the possibility of becoming permanent after a 16‑week settling‑in period

Responsibilities

  • Support students in lessons, encourage independence, and help build confidence both academically and socially.
  • Work with a team to provide a caring, inclusive environment for post‑16 students with autism and learning disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Suitable for graduates, support workers, youth workers, sports coaches or anyone with a passion for working with young people.
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Applicants should be patient, positive, reliable and keen to make a difference.
