Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Swindon, SN3

Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary with potential to become permanent

Pay: £90+ per day (experience-based)

Axcis are working with a fantastic, nurturing and inclusive primary school that is devoted to providing a supportive, engaging learning environment for all students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our primary school is dedicated to collaboration and personal growth, ensuring each child thrives academically and socially.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 months of UK experience supporting children/vulnerable adults with ASD or SEND is needed.
  2. Patient, reliable and adaptable with a caring, supportive attitude.
  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  4. Ability to manage and support students with challenging behaviour in a calm and proactive manner.

Ideal Candidate:

If you have experience in any of the following areas, we encourage you to apply:

  1. Nurseries, colleges, youth clubs, residential or care homes
  2. Personal experience (SEND)
  3. Graduates in sociology, psychology, sports, music, art, or drama are also welcome!

Additional Information:

  1. Hours: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
  2. Roles: Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
  3. Pay: £90+ per day based on experience and qualifications.
  4. This role is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
