The Role
As a Primary School Supply Teacher, you will take responsibility for teaching a KS1 or KS2 class, depending on your experience and strengths.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress.
- Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations.
- Working closely with parents, support staff and the senior leadership team.
- Using technology, including Google Classroom, to enhance learning.
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet the changing needs of pupils and the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a UK mainstream primary school.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Confidence using educational technology, including Google Classroom, or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- A nurturing, adaptable and proactive approach.
- Flexibility and resilience within a dynamic school environment.
