Are you looking for a rewarding role within a primary school which will grow your skills and transform the lives of others? Here at Axcis Education, we are recruiting for a full‑time teaching assistant to work with key‑stage 1 and 2 students with additional needs at a school in Preston. This is a mainstream primary school; however, some students in this school have a range of special needs such as autism, ASD, challenging behaviour and MLD.
Pay rates begin at £89 per day and may increase depending on experience. Transport links are offered from Preston town centre and surrounding areas, and on‑street parking is available.
Key DutiesThe role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with students who have special educational needs. You will be required to work with the pupils in a range of lessons and support the teacher in the delivery of engaging activities. The role will start as soon as possible and candidates must be available to work 8:30am – 3pm, Monday – Friday.
Ideal Candidate- Brilliant communication skills, empathy and patience

- 6 months of relevant experience OR a relevant qualification
