Here at Axcis Education, we are recruiting for a full-time teaching assistant to work with reception aged students with additional needs at a mainstream primary school in Preston (PR5). This role is due to begin as soon as possible. Pay rates begin at £13.69 per hour (£89 a day) and may increase depending on experience. Transport links are offered from Preston city centre and surrounding areas, and free parking is provided on site.
Responsibilities:
- Work with pupils in a range of lessons and support the teacher in the delivery of engaging activities.
Required:
- Experience working with children.
- Experience working with children/adults with special educational needs.
- Full‑time availability.
- A reliable and hardworking personality, with strong behaviour management skills.
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service (if you do not have this, we can guide you through the process).
