Axcis Education is working on behalf of a welcoming mainstream primary school in Southport to recruit a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher for a full‑time position. Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering creative, child‑centred EYFS learning opportunities.
- Monitoring, assessing and recording children's progress in line with EYFS requirements.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children's wellbeing and development.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, families and external professionals where required.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and maintaining high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- The successful candidate will hold QTS (or be an ECT) and have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
- Experience supporting children with a range of learning needs and strong behaviour management skills would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, a passion for early years education and a commitment to inclusive teaching are essential.
