Are you a passionate Teacher or Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in primary schools? Axcis Education is currently recruiting PPA Cover Teachers and Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools. We have opportunities available for:
- Day-to-day (D2D) supply work
- Short-term placements
- Long-term roles
Start Date: After February Half-Term
Location: Stockport and Tameside
The Role
PPA Cover Teachers
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour
- Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Teaching Assistants
- Support pupils in class during PPA cover
- Provide small group and 1:1 support where required
- Assist with classroom preparation and activities
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
