Overview
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive co‑educational all‑through academy school in Lewisham, looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join from September 2026 on a maternity cover contract for the full academic year. This opportunity is for an educator passionate about contributing to a supportive school community that prides itself on high standards and student achievement across all key stages.
Responsibilities
- Teach English across relevant key stages (KS3–KS4 and potentially KS5 depending on experience).
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.

- Support students’ academic progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues within a well‑established English department.
Qualifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have recent UK classroom experience teaching English.
