The predicted salary is between 24960 - 27300 £ per year.

We are working closely with a specialist SEND setting on the border between Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire that provides education for secondary aged pupils who have an EHCP for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and also Autism, Attachment disorder and other learning difficulties. The setting is a secondary school for boys that offers a range of outdoor activities such as forest school, football and water sports, and each child follows a bespoke curriculum that includes core subjects and a variety of activities to support long‑term reintegration into mainstream education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to pupils with SEMH, Autism and Attachment disorder.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents to implement individualized support plans.
  • Participate in CPD, team briefings, hand‑overs and other professional development activities.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of outdoor and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working with SEMH, Autism or Attachment disorder.
  • Compassionate, reliable, caring, adaptable, resilient and a strong team player.
  • Previous work in a secondary SEND or educational setting is an advantage.

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday 08:30‑16:00 (students leave at 15:30). Pay is competitive, £98‑£110 per day depending on prior experience. The role is initially temporary with the possibility of a permanent appointment if the fit is strong.

The position offers competitive daily rates and the opportunity for permanent employment. You will be required to provide an up‑to‑date DBS or allow the agency to process one on your behalf as part of compliance with DfE guidelines.
