The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 € per year.

Axcis is working closely with a specialist provision located near Carterton for children aged 8-18 with complex SEMH needs and trauma. The school has 16 boys and aims to reintegrate them into mainstream or special school education. The role starts ASAP and initially continues until the end of the academic year, with the possibility to extend into the following year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to children with SEMH needs and trauma.
  • Manage challenging behaviour, requiring resilience and thick skin.
  • Be adaptable, quick thinking, and skilled in de-escalation.
  • Engage in outdoor, sporty activities with the students.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience with SEMH or children affected by trauma.
  • Own car suitable for rural location.
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30-16:00.

Compensation

Competitive pay, weekly in arrears. Salary depends on skills and experience.
