A specialist SEND school in Bromley is seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team on a part-time, long-term basis. The school operates Monday to Thursday (8 am–3 pm) and Friday (8 am–1:30 pm), supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs in a nurturing and structured learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils across all areas of learning, development, and wellbeing, including assisting with classroom activities, promoting engagement, and supporting positive behaviour in line with individual education plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a SEND school or SEND support setting
- Confidence supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Willingness to support pupils across all age groups and abilities
- Patience, resilience, and commitment to creating a positive learning environment
- Valid Child & Adult DBS registered on the Update Service
Work Conditions
- Hours: Monday–Thursday 8 am–3 pm; Friday 8 am–1:30 pm.
- Start: ASAP.
- Pay: £14.25 per hour (PAYE).
- This role is temporary unless otherwise stated.
- The position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
