We’re currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across local schools and specialist settings. This role is about providing calm, consistent support to help pupils feel safe, confident, and able to engage with learning. Support may be 1:1 or in small groups, depending on the setting and pupil needs.
Responsibilities- Support pupils who may need extra help due to autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, speech & language needs, or emotional/behavioural challenges.
- Work in mainstream schools, special schools, or alternative provisions, supporting learning both in and out of the classroom.
- Experience in education, SEN, care, or support work is useful but not essential — the right attitude and experience matter most.
You’ll be working through a SEND-specialist education recruitment agency that works closely with schools to provide staff who genuinely fit their environments. All roles are subject to enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
