Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities throughout the school day, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and work towards their individual goals.
- Assist with tailored learning activities, encouraging communication and independence.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive academically and personally.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND.
- Calm, positive and encouraging approach to the classroom.
- Dependable and committed to being a consistent presence for pupils.
- Capable of adapting to the varying needs of children across the provision.
- Ability to work well alongside teachers, therapists and support staff.
Employment Details
- Start date: ASAP.
- Contract: Long‑term, continuation into the next academic year.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
- Working pattern: Term time only.
- Location: Stockport.
