We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education across various primary schools. You will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment, working with groups of children or providing one‑to‑one support where needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Support pupils with their reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
  • Work 1:1 with specific pupils to keep them engaged and on‑task.
  • Foster a safe, encouraging, and supportive learning space.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children (school, youth club, or care settings).
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Location: Manchester, Stockport, and Trafford

Pay: £95 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

Contract type: Full‑time / Part‑time (temporary & long‑term options)
