We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a welcoming all‑age SEND school in Maidenhead on a full‑time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and helping them achieve both academically and personally within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils across various age groups.
  • Support a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents and external professionals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of one year’s teaching experience, preferably within a SEND or specialist setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a child‑centred approach.
  • Adaptable, patient and confident in working with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Prepared to provide an up‑to‑date DBS and other mandatory compliance checks in line with DfE guidelines.

Role Details

  • Full‑time position, Monday to Friday.
  • Working hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
  • Pay dependent on teacher pay scale and experience.
  • September start or immediate, as required.
