A supportive secondary school in Uxbridge (UB8) is seeking a full‑time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. In this role you will support students with special educational needs, helping them access learning and develop independence. You will work with pupils who have complex needs and provide personal care as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEND.
  • Facilitate learning opportunities.
  • Provide personal care to pupils with complex needs.
  • Assist teachers in classroom and therapy sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Background in healthcare or relevant experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
  • Ability to work with pupils who have complex needs and provide personal care.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting young people with additional needs.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:00. Start: ASAP.

Background Check

An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is required for this role.
