A warm and welcoming college in Bromley is seeking caring and creative SEND LSAs to support students aged 16+ with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and physical disabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom-based and 1:1 SEND support.
- Support students with arts, crafts, drama and practical learning activities.
- Assist with cooking sessions and independent living programmes.
- Support students on day outings, trips and community activities.
- Encourage communication, confidence and social development.
- Provide personal care where required.
- Work closely with teaching staff, families and external professionals.
Requirements
- Experience supporting young people aged 16+ with SEND (college, education or support work background).
- A caring, patient and empathetic approach.
- Comfortable supporting personal care when needed.
- Child & adult DBS.
- Reliable, proactive and passionate about supporting independence.
